Ben Batambuze is a character from The Story of Tracy Beaker.
Ben is from a rich background. Unlike the other child characters, he does not live at the Dumping Ground, but often hangs around with the Dumping Ground children as his parents are often busy with work and do not spend time with him. Ben is friendly, outgoing and best friends with Tracy.
At first, Ben lies to Tracy, by telling her that he lives on the streets though later Tracy finds out he lives in a big posh house with his mum and dad after Ben injures himself and has to be taken back to his house. They temporarily become enemies (in Tracy's mind) but later become friends again. He is also good friends with Ryan and Zac and is on good terms with Peter.
Is Series 1, Ben's personality is shown as a cool and chilled person, but in Series 2 he's shown as a bit of a wimp and a pushover.
At the start of Series 3, it was revealed that he left to go to boarding school, but in The Beaker Club, when Tracy is looking at some photos, one of them is a photograph of Ben.
