Mrs. Chavda is the former next door neighbour to the Taylor’s.

Biography[]

Mrs. Chavda lived next door to the Taylors whilst Johnny and Tee were living at home. She'd often look out for Johnny and Tee as she was the one who rung the ambulance after Keith attacked Johnny and needed to go to the hospital. The doctors and nurses contacted social services after this.

Throughout The Dumping Ground[]

Mrs. Chavda didn't have any speaking lines during her appearances but she has appeared in four episodes.

Series 2[]

In "G.I. Johnny", Mrs. Chavda makes her first appearance when Johnny and Tee went back to their old house to try and get their mum to sign a consent form for Johnny to join the army (as Mike wouldn't do it as he was against the idea at the time). They found out that Lucy had moved out the house months ago and never told them or social services about it. Mrs. Chavda watched them from her window as they left the street.

In "Hope", Mrs. Chavda delivered a letter to the Dumping Ground addressed to Johnny and Tee from their mum. She handed the letter to Tee when she was coming back home after going out with Carmen and gave Tee a sympathetic pat on the arm before leaving.

Series 3[]

Tyler&JodyFarmShop

Mrs. Chavda at Tyler and Jody's farm shop in the episode "Mischief".

In "Mischief", Mrs. Chavda made a very small appearance as one of the customers of Tyler and Jody's farm shop.

Series 4[]

In "Lost and Found", Mrs. Chavda can be seen walking past Jody and Tyler in town, when they saw Brionny working outside a cocktails bar.

Trivia[]

  • The actress who portrayed Mrs. Chavda is unknown, as she wasn't credited in any of the episodes she appeared in. It's most likely because she was a non-speaking role.
  • Johnny reveals that her name is Mrs. Chavda in the episode Hope, when he reminded his mother, Lucy Taylor, that it was Mrs. Chavda who called the ambulance after Keith took his anger out on Johnny.
