The Dumping Ground is a British children's drama series that airs on CBBC. The series follows the lives of children living in a care home.

The series is a spin-off of Tracy Beaker Returns and previously The Story of Tracy Beaker.

After the tenth series has ended in June 23, 2023, the show has spanned an eleventh series.

Plot

The Dumping Ground revolves around the life of children in a Porter's Lodge (previously Ashdene Ridge and Elmtree House) carehome; typically each episode follows one or more characters' life and includes subplots featuring other characters.
